Admiral Puckett Birth Name - Vuv BortaS from the House of BortaS Vuv BortaS was born in 2340 the third son to bear that name in First City of Kronos, Kronos. His father as his father before him was a member of the Klingon High Command. His father had earned the rank of Thought Admiral while serving in the Klingon Defense Force. He than transfered to the Klingon Military Academy to instruct battle tactics and logistics. His courses on Exo-Battle Tactics became required for graduation. Vuv grew up in a life of luxury for a noble Klingon House. Always knowing one day that he would serve on the High Council as his fathers before him had. He was taught from birth in the battle technics and weapons from over 100 Klingon and Federation worlds. Little else is known about his youth other than that he traveled with his father to many worlds on the High Councils Orders. After graduation from the Klingon Military Acedemy in 2353 he was posted to an old D-7 Battle Cruiser were he challenged the authority of every officer above him and killed them in battle. He progressed through the ranks very quickly. Within four years of graduation he had earned the rank of Captain and commanded the older D-7 Battle Cruiser. He proved himself to be skillful commander and was eventually given command of an older Scout Class Bird of Prey. In 2360, Vuv successfully captured an older Romulan Warbird. He was than given command of a new Bird of Prey. With this new ship he and several classmates help to expand the Klingon Empire into seven new sector. His favourite battle tactic was to take a shuttle craft into the enemies shields and beam a boarding party onto the ship. His father was very proud of him. In 2361 Vuv's father was killed in an assassination by a member of the House of Duras. Vuv than assumed his position on the High Council after killing the one possible challenger to his position. In 2362 as Vuv continued to look into his father's death he discovered the truth. His father had found out about the assult on Khitomer by the Romulans in 2346. When Vuv challenged this in council the Chancelor expelled Vuv and removed him of his families good name, land, and titles. He than transported off his Kronos to his ship were he and his advisors took their ships and left Klingon Space for Federation Space. In 2363 after long talks with the Federation Concil he and his crew were admitted to Starfleet Academy. Although older than the other cadets they were able to challenge some of their classes and graduated in two years. In 2366 he accepted a posting to teach Exo-Battle Tactics at Starfleet Acedemy. In 2367 he was than posted as a Lt. Jg. to the U. S. S. Repulse as a security /tactical officer. While serving on the Repulse he was on an away mission that was attacked by the local population. He managed to remove the threat and save the lifes of the away team members. When they got to Starbase 1 for repairs Admiral Bruce Puckett awarded Vuv with the the Bronze Star and a promotion to Lt. He was than transfered to Admiral Puckett's Staff. While a member of Admiral Puckett's staff he and the Admiral became friends. After the Admiral had learned of Vuv's problem of losing his family name and honour the Admiral asked Vuv to join his family. Vuv accepted the honour since the Admiral had no male heir. Vuv asked the Admiral to give him an Earth name so when people spoke to him he wouldn't be reminded of his shame. Admiral Puckett choose the name Thomas from his father and Connell from his wifes maiden name. Vuv did keep the fact that he was the third member of his house to bear that name Vuv. So Vuv was than known as Lt. Thomas Connell Puckett III. Then in 2369, Lt. Puckett was Tactical Officer on the U. S. S. Galaxy. During an attack on a survey mission, Lt. Puckett captured a Cardassian Cruiser. For this he was promoted to Commander. He was than transfered to the U. S. S. Freedom. While on the Freedom Cmdr. Puckett Served as Tactical Officer under Admiral Ferguson. After serving on the Freedom under Admiral Ferguson he than served under Captain Matt Packard on the same ship. In early 2371 Joe gave command of the U. S. S. Franklin to Commander Thomas C Puckett III, and promoted him to Captain. Captain Matt Packard was promoted to the Admiralty. In early 2372, then Admiral Packard took an ELOA (Extended Leave of Absence), and Rear Admiral Puckett was promoted to Vice Admiral and made Acting XO of the Special Forces Fleet. Later in that year, the Federation President became deathly ill, and Joe was temporarily placed as the Federation President. At that time, Thom Puckett was promoted to Fleet Admiral, and placed as Special Forces Fleet Commander. After the Presidents recovery, Joe retook his place as Fleet Admiral over Special Forces, and Puckett returned to acting XO of the Special Forces Fleet. Shortly after Joe's return, Admiral Packard returned to his post as XO of the Special Forces Fleet. In the later part of 2372, after the U. S. S. Prometheus was captured by Romulans, she was returned to Earth, and was given a new crew. Vice Admiral Puckett was offered the Chief Engineering Officers position were he excelled. He later ended up returning to the Lexic with Joe. In early 2373, the Lexic was destroyed in a brutal space battle with the Cardassians and the Dominion. Vice Admiral Puckett and Admiral Packard launched a new experimental ships to counter the attack. The new ships were very usefull and nearly destroyed Cardassia Prime. After the attack Vice Admiral Puckett continued work on his Tactical/ Recon ship design. It was a small design only 400 meters. The plans were approved and the ship built immediately. She is the U. S. S. Draco. In mid 2373, the most advanced Starbase was built, Starbase Sierra. Designed by Vice Admiral Puckett. Fleet Admiral Ferguson was given command of the Starbase. While commanding Sierra, Joe home-based the USS Draco at Sierra, and gave command of her to Vice Admiral Puckett. In late 2373, Vice Admiral Puckett was promoted to Admiral, and placed as XO of the Special Forces Fleet. About a month after Admiral Puckett's promotion, he was given command of the Top-Secrete Starbase Omega, and placed as Black Operations Commanding Officer. After Puckett's change to the Starbase, Command of the Draco was given to Captain Shawn Andrews. In the begining of 2375 Admiral Puckett had designed a newer more powerful Starbase. The Ares. Joe now commands Starbase Ares, and the UFA headquarters has been moved to Ares as well. The Draco and all Special Forces ships are home based at Ares. Admiral Puckett is still the CO of Starbase Omega and the Black Operations. Midway through the year 2375 the UFA was disolved and we have rejoined the Federation Sim Fleet (FSF) now as the Psicron Fleet. All personnel have taken a slight demotion. Rear Admiral Puckett is now the XO on the Draco. The Starbases are all undergoing renaming. Starbase Ares is now Starbase Omicron. Starbase omega is now known as Starbase Psi. Rear Admiral Puckett is still the Commanding officer of Starbase Psi where all Black Operations project continue for the fleet. As the year is now ending, Vice Admiral Ferguson has retired and Rear Admiral Puckett has been promoted to Vice Admiral. Vice Admiral Puckett is now Commanding Officer of the Psicron Fleet. Under his command three new ships (USS Firehawk, USS Rosemont, USS Rosewood) and a new Starbase (Starbase Kerelia) have joined into the Psicron Fleet. 2376 lead to some interesting events. Rear Admiral Puckett was promoted to full Admiral and made XO of the FSF. Rear Admiral Suzie LaPolla merged her IRC fleet into the Psicron Fleet and became the fleets new XO. After many failed attempts at getting any rosters from the Rear Admiral, Admiral Puckett found out that the entire IRC division except one sim was inactive. Multiple charges were brought against Read Admiral LaPolla in the Psicron Tribunal system. She was found guilty and releaved of all her duties. She was furthermore banned from being in the Psicron Fleet and formal charges were to be brought in the FSF except for intervention from Head Admiral Shuni. Rear Admiral LaPolla eventually leaves the FSF after her last IRC sim fails and she had failed the FSF. Admiral Puckett steps down as XO of the FSF. Allowing for now Admiral Calhoun to step in in 2377. USS Black Lightning launches as a new class of ship. She is a scout, recon, light combat ship. She is crewed by Captain Kestra Olivier. Ultimately the sim fails. 2378-2379 turn out to be uneventfull years for the most part. However a new Psicron Fleet XO is hired in 2378. Captain Tamar Kye is promoted. Despite several attempts to convince him to take on a command of his own he still insists that he prefers being the XO. The end of 2379 saw the USS Draco being placed on inactive status. Despite multiple attempts at bringing her back to full sim status. She has not been abandoned. Command crew was forced to take over for another sim in the fleet called the USS Coeus after the command crew had left several times. The present year is 2380(2003).
